Citrix StoreFront
This new protocol works alongside existing Citrix
protocols and allows improved support for XenApp and XenDesktop
environments under Citrix7 and above.
NetScaler gateway support will be added in due course.
Remote Connection
Packet loss over remote network connections
(ADSL/SDSL) is common and can impact performance.
The TCP/IP stack of the terminal has been
optimized to reduce resent traffic when packets are lost, increasing
overall performance – especially in cases where WAN performance is seen
as being worse than LAN performance.
Terminal Taskbar
The taskbar is now fully active:
- Its appearance has completely changed.
- It is possible to pin or not predefined sessions on the
taskbar
- The icons for published applications (under RemoteApp )
are now displayed in the taskbar. Icons notification (eg Skype) are
also supported .
Note: for reasons of compatibility it is possible to enable the old
status line in the set-up.
