- Hotkeys can be used to call main functions. A Help button is available
- Multiple IP addresses or names can be used with an AxRM command (for example: rebooting several Axel devices).
- the TFTP server is more robust. (If a TFTP block is lost, the TFTP server is now able to re-send this block. It's useful for WAN).
- A batch file can be created to assign IP addresses to devices with the ping command. This allows to configure a set of devices in one shot.
- The SET FACTORY SETTINGS command is now available as a standard command. This command is based on the remote set-up capability. This allows to use it over a WAN.
- A scheduler command is now available for batch files. (For example: upgrading devices during the night).

- Sometimes the installation of AxRM failed. It was due to a DLL: iphlpapi.dll. AxRM was unable to copy this DLL if it's already installed. Now this DLL is not included in the package. If it's not already there, it must download and copy to %systemroot%\system32 from the Axel web site  
- For the GET CONFIGURATION command, the file is enforced to be ended by ".txt"
