 New
firmware is available for evaluation for Axel 80, 85 and 90 thin
clients. (version 1626c). It will soon replace the 1626b currently
in production).

Touch screens
"Single-touch" as "Multi-touch":
New management of "Single-touch" screens makes it possible to redirect them on RDS or CITRIX servers
in
the same way as multi-touch screens. The advantage of this is we gain
all the features offered by RDS or CITRIX on "multi-touch" touch
screens. For example the presence of a virtual keyboard to login.
Other news:
- Screen
detection in runtime. (A reboot is necessary to take the new screen
into account).
- Ability to
turn the device off by <CTRL>
<ALT> <DEL> or the ON / OFF button without requiring confirmation.
- New default
background colour and new logo management.
- Debug traces
available in the setup, downloadable by AxRM.
- Icons
displayed in the setup to facilitate the setting of the screens.
 
For M9x models only:
This
new feature allows any combination of different sessions to run on each
screen, for example Windows on right screen and telnet/As400 on left
screen or RDS server “A” on left screen and RDS server “B” on right
screen
This new protocol for RDP and ICA increases performance of full screen video and 3D software.
WARNING: To maximise this feature a powerful graphics card is required in the server.
